GIEF supports Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SHP) Bed Building project with a $5,000 grant.

The Sacred Heart Youth Group would like to support a program, Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SHP) Bed Building. The day of building will result in building a number of sturdy Amish style bunk beds for children without a comfortable sleeping situation. The building process consists of constructing wooden bed frames from raw materials. Once the beds are built there is a separate date that they actually go to homes and deliver the beds. The $5000 will pay for all the materials that are used for the beds.
